N During DTS or MPEG playback, audio is output only to the speakers.
Audio is not output using other connections.

• The higher the number, the greater the effect.
• If you press the button while in the STEREO mode, the selection
alternates between STEREO snd 4 Stereo.

Listening to radio broadcasts
You can automatically or manually tune in to FM and AM stations
to listen to radio broadcasts.

Press the FM/AM button.
• Each time you press the button, the band alternates between
FM and AM.

Tune in to a station.
• Automatic tuning : Hold down l➛➛ / ❿ ❿l to begin the
automatic tuning.
• Manual tuning : Press l➛➛ to tune in to a lower frequency, or
press ❿ ❿l to tune in to a higher frequency.
The FM/AM function cannot be selected while operating the
DVD player or VCR.
Presetting stations
Example: Storing an FM station of 89.1 MHz into the preset number
02 of the FM1 band

Press the FM/AM button to select the FM band.
• Each time you press the button, the band alternates between
FM and AM.

Select a channel to choose the memory address to which you want
to store the station.
Use the ➛➛ and ❿ ❿ buttons to tune in to 89.1 FM.

Press the I button or the ENTER button on the remote control.

• 89.1 FM is stored in FM1.

Select a channel to select a preset station number.
Press the I STOP button or ENTER button again to store FM

station 89.1 to FM 1.

To store other stations Repeat steps 1 to 6 above.
• You can use the CHANNEL button to store up to 20 FM stations
and 10 AM stations.
