Room ventilation RLS 2 F
Installation and operation
Function of 5-stage operating mode selector
OFF
Device off:
If phase L is run via room ventilation control then
the electricity supply L' to the ventilation device is interrupted.
If the phase is not run by the ventilation control then
the device runs permanently on fan stage 1.
Day mode:
The device runs permanently on fan stage 2.
Night mode:
The device runs permanently on fan stage 1.
Automatic time mode:
The device switches between day mode (fan stage 2) and
night mode (fan stage1), depending on
the times set on the timer.
Party mode:
The device runs permanently in party mode (fan stage 3).
Party mode is displayed on the indicator lamp

1. Designated use
Room ventilation via timer and step switch is plan-
ned and designed to control MAICO residential
ventilation devices.
Room ventilation via timers and step switches may
only be used for applications as described in these
instructions. Uses and restrictions must be com-
plied with. The manufacturer is not liable for damage that is caused by a use that deviated from the
use described in this application.
2. Safety instructions
Caution!
Connection errors can lead to damage in the control circuit!
Liability will not be accepted for damage caused by incorrect connections
and/or improper use!
Switch off power supply to device before working on it and ensure device cannot be
switched on again by accident.
Must only be connected or serviced by authorised personnel.
Connect the device in accordance with attached principle wiring diagram.
Only connect the device to fixed lines in dry in dry, closed rooms.
Observe the provisions of the VDE and the regulations of the local EVU.
