----End 2.3 (Recommended) Web Interface Operations You can use the web interface to configure the IRD6000 remotely and conveniently. Compared with front panel operations, web interface operations are more intuitive and without location limitations. It is recommended that you operate the IRD6000 using the web interface.
User Guide Establishing the Connection Step 1 Connect the MGNT port on the IRD6000 to a network switch, and connect the computer from which you want to perform web interface operations to the same switch. Step 2 The default IP address of the IRD6000 is 192.168.1.16. Ensure that the computer's IP address is in the same network segment as that of the IRD6000.

----End Upgrading the IRD6000 The manufacturer will release new firmware aperiodically to fix the found software problems or provide more functions. You can upgrade the IRD6000 using the Upgrade menu on the web interface. CAUTION Using incorrect firmware version during the upgrade may cause irrecoverable damage to your device.

Setting the IP Board Transmission Parameters To set the IP board transmission parameters: Step 1 From the functional menu section of the IRD6000's web interface, click a channel in IP Board (Transmitter). The interface for setting the IP board transmission is displayed, as shown in Figure 2-15.
