3.1

Cabinet mounted design

General instructions regarding the cabinet mounting of the liquid cooled S120 power
units of the chassis version you will find in chapter "Control cabinet construction and
EMC (particularly the chapter "Vertical installation ") of equipment manual Sinamics
S120 Power units / Chassis / Liquid-cooled.
3.2 Mechanical design of the marine-type cabinet
The high loads / demands in the marine area require an adaption of the mechanical
design of the cabinet. Possibilities to increase the mechanical stability of the cabinet
and the stable mounting of the power units into the cabinet are demonstrated in the
following pictures and the following description.
