Notes on mounting

S Handle the transducer carefully.
S The transducer seating must be horizontal, even and,
together with the transducer mounting surface, it must
be absolutely clean.
S Dust, dirt and other foreign matter must not be al­
lowed to collect so that the deflection of the trans­
ducer is impaired, leading to possible erroneous
measurements.
S Do not overload the transducer (e.g. by unevenly dis­
tributed loads); if necessary, provide overload protec­
tion (e.g. supports).
S Each transducer should be bridged by a copper wire
(approx. 16 mm
tion, so that no welding currents can flow across the
transducer.
