Introduction
The EM-8662 Ring Launcher Accessory includes three non-mag-
netic metal rings, and an induction coil attached to a light bulb.
These accessories are designed to be used with the EM-8661
Ring Launcher for demonstrating electromagnetic induction and
magnetic force. The rings slide over the iron rod of the Ring
Launcher, and, when the launch switch on the Ring Launcher is
pushed down, the rings "jump" to different heights. The split alu-
minum ring is used to demonstrate what happens if there is not a
complete conductive path. When the coil of the induction coil
and bulb is placed around the iron rod, the bulb lights while the
launch switch on the Ring Launcher is held down momentarily.
