3. Connect green ground wire from the converter to
the ground bus bar (G).
4. Route the Modbus/TCP wire harness (5) through
two wire tie pads (9) to maintain clearance from the
IS circuit (IS).
5. Install modular RJ45 cable (3) between converter
and bulkhead. Be sure to plug cable into correct
plug on converter module. See location in F
14.
6. Close and lock the EasyKey door.
Make sure the red switch on the front is set to
RS-485.

Changing Network Configuration
1. Connect PC to ethernet connection on EasyKey
with the crossover cable.
2. Connect network to PC with DeviceInstaller.
3. Run DeviceInstaller program.

4. Change IP Address from Default setting 192.168.02
a. Run DeviceInstaller
b. Click "Search"
c. Select device

d. Click "Assign IP"
Select and assign specific IP address.
i. Input address
ii. Enter subnet mask 255.255.255.0

iii. Click "Assign" (unit is programmed and will
now reboot)
iv. Click "Finish"

v. Close/Exit DeviceInstaller
Alternate method via telnet and port 9999.
