Display

When the device is in either TEV mode or AE mode, the display can be toggled between
Level and Trend display by using the TRIGGER button.
7.5.1

Level display

This is the default display for both TEV and AE mode and shows the real-time signal levels
measured in dB as a single number, see example below:
In TEV mode, the count is also shown. The count is the average number of pulses detected
in a single power cycle and reflects the intensity of the detected activity.
Coloured LEDs (3) on either side of the display indicate whether the activity detected is low,
medium or high. In TEV mode, the green and amber LEDs illuminated indicate medium
activity.
Thresholds are set according to the levels shown in the tables below.
TEV mode:
LOW
MEDIUM
HIGH
AE mode:
LOW
HIGH
