• Use only original replacement parts from the
manufacturer because they fulfil the technical
requirements and therefore minimise the risk of
accidents!
• When cleaning using a high-pressure washer
ensure that the water jet is not sprayed directly
at bearings, rotating parts, lubrication nipples,
axle seals, hubs etc. After cleaning with a high-
pressure washer the lubrication points must be
lubricated again. If this is not carried out the
guarantee is invalidated!
• Check that the moving parts move easily and
lubricate them if necessary!
• After completed maintenance and cleaning
work the safety devices must always be
reinstalled and put in the correct position!
• Keep the machine clean to prevent risk of fire!
• Regularly check that the nuts and screws are
tight and tighten them if necessary.
• When carrying out any maintenance, cleaning
and repair with the deck raised it must always
be secured using suitable supports!
• Ensure that the hydraulic system is
unpressurised before starting repair. Otherwise
the fluid in the pressurised system can penetrate
the skin and cause serious injury! Seek medical
attention immediately - risk of infection!
• Repairs must only be carried out by authorised
personnel.
• Check the hydraulic lines regularly so that they
are not damaged or too old. Replace if
necessary.
• When welding on the tractor or on the installed
deck the battery must be disconnected.
• Repairs such as welding, grinding, drilling etc.
must not be carried out on load bearing or safety
related components such as the frame, axles
etc.!
3 DESTRUCTION AND WASTE
MANAGEMENT
• The deck must be recycled according to the
applicable local regulations.
4 GUARANTEE
4.1 GUARANTEE PERIOD
The purchaser is covered by the national laws of
each country. The rights to which the purchaser is
entitled with the support of these laws are not
restricted.

4.2 EXCEPTIONS
The warranty does not cover damage due to the
following:
• Neglect by users to acquaint themselves with
accompanying documentation.
• Carelessness.
• Incorrect and non-permitted use or assembly.
• The use of non-genuine spare parts.
• The use of accessories not supplied or approved
by Stiga.
Neither does the warranty cover:
• Wearing components such as, belts, brush.
• Normal wear.
5 RECOMMENDATIONS
5.1 LUBRICANT
• The prescribed lubricants must be used for the
engine and gearbox (see "Technical
specifications").
• For "open" lubrication points and lubrication
nipples ecological lubricating oil or ecological
lubricating grease are recommended. If you
use ecological lubricants you contribute to
protecting the environment and improving
health of people, animals and plants
5.2 MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
• There are trained mechanics at your dealer who
can carry out professional repairs and
maintenance. You should only attempt major
maintenance and repairs yourself if you have
access to the right tools and good knowledge of
machinery and combustion engines
• Before the deck is attached or removed the
drive machine must be switched off and the
ignition key removed
