    WARNINGS AND SAFETY NOTES Discharging The main purpose of discharging is to clean the residual capacity of the battery, or to reduce the battery’ voltage to a defined level. The same attention should be paid to the discharging process as the charging process. The final discharge voltage should be set up correctly to avoid deep discharging.

  • Page 7 CHARGE CURRENT SETTING It is important to consider the maximum allowed charging current of your battery before charging it. A charging current higher than the maximum allowable charging current may damage your battery and may cause a fire and explosion of the battery during charging. You must use the C-value indicated on the battery, which is the coefficient of the charge/ discharge of the battery.

    LITHIUM BATTERY (LiLo/LIPO/LIFE/LIHV) Lithium battery charging in balance mode This involves balancing the voltages between the different cells of the lithium battery. The charger monitors the internal voltage of each cell and limits the current of each cell to en- sure a balanced charge.
  • Page 9 OPERATION Press the STOP button to return to the last entry, press the ENTER button to enter the next menu. To select a charging program, press the ENTER button. Choose between balanced charging mode or Fast Charging mode. Press the ENTER button to enter the next screen. To return to the previous screen, press the STOP button.

    CELL METER TEST PROGRAM This charger is equipped with a built-in high-speed micro- processor, it can be used as a cell tester and indicates the voltage of each cell, the total voltage of the battery pack and the highest / lowest voltage. Select the CELL METER program and press START Press the START button to display the highest / lowest voltage of each cell and the total battery voltage.

    USE STORED DATA This program recalls the data stored in the «SAVE DATA» function. To load the data, press the key START/ENTER once to make the data number field blink, select the number using the keys INC/DEC then press the START/ENTER for more than three seconds.

The safety time should not be less than the full charge time of the battery, usually between 10 and 720 minutes.
