In case the flange requirements in chapter
are not met, the hole needs to be machined to an oval shape prepared for
inclined welding of the Flange Ball.
Procedure
1. Let the protection plates remain on the Flange Ball until welding is
finished. These plates protect the surface of the Flange Ball from
welding sparks.
