Intended use

The drop-arm awnings of type 310/314, 330, 340 and 350
are sun shading systems that may only be employed to
provide privacy and protect against summer heat and

All awnings for external use are designed for a wind load
of 1.1 kN/m² (DIN 1055). The directive entitled "Wind
loads for construction of closures and awnings when re-
tracted – Section 5.1.1"
1
these products can be installed without requiring special
precautions.
Additional loads on the window awning in the form of
hanging objects could damage the product or cause it to
detach from the wall and are therefore not permitted.
The intended use also includes observing these instruc-
tions and the care and maintenance conditions.
