Electric shock!
When inspecting or maintaining electrical
parts, the unit must be de-energised and
locked out.
Check the function and the limit positions of the
product.
Check the product for visible wear, for damage to
the motor line and to ensure it is securely attached
(e.g. check that the screws have a firm hold).
Make a visual check of all movable parts.
Check that all consoles are firmly in place. The
consoles must be attached flush against the mount-
ing substructure without a gap.
Check that the clamping supports are firmly seated
every six months (type 314 only).
Retension the clamping supports (type 314 only) by
unscrewing the base.
Clean the guide rails.
Change the battery on products with remote control.
Inform the operator of operating risks (e.g. ice for-
mation).
DANGER
Functional problems and product damage due
to incorrect operation in frosty conditions! The
product can freeze up below the specified
temperature (+ 3 °C).
Do not operate frozen products.
Avoid using force to operate frozen prod-
ucts. This may damage the blinds.
In wintry temperatures, retract the product
to the upper limit position and take it out of
service.
We recommend the use of an ice monitor-
ing system.

Warranty
Subject to the statutory period of limitation for warranty
claims. This requires regular maintenance. The warranty
does not include wear parts or optical changes in line with
the type of material used (e.g. bleaching of surfaces
caused by UV rays).

What you should know about fabrics

Technical fabrics may exhibit certain characteristics due to
production and sizing that may appear to the operator to
be "faults".
The blemishes described below will not affect the usability
or durability of the fabric:
