Quick Start –
self-powered iTRV

Manual Teach-in

Set room controller to pairing mode.
Check the user guide of the
room controller.

Pairing-mode

Press the push button 1 or 2 for 5 sec. You may have to
repeat this step.

LED flash pattern

green flash = Successful pairing

Installation and reference run

Press the push button 1 or 2; the iTRV adjusts the
min and max positions. Then enters normal operation.

Additional things to know

Connection nut M30 x 1.5; adapters are available
•
for many other valve types.
Valve should be working freely
•
EnOcean protocol A5-20-01
•
Every 10 minutes, the iTRV connects to the room
•
controller, requesting an update to the valve position
or the set temperature. The iTRV then moves the valve
to the specified position.
Summer mode: Radio communication interval increased
•
from 10 minutes to 8 hours.
To remove the iTRV, press the push button 1 or 2 for
•
5 sec (mind the key lock) and wait until the motor stops.
Then loosen the coupling nut.

Non-installed iTRVs return

After one hour, the push
buttons lock automatically.
