START AND OPERATION

Initial operation
• Make sure the unit is properly installed and that all instructions have been followed.
• Set the control knob to the middle position and connect the device. After starting the
device, the side walls get warm on the outside, which is normal.
• If you open the freezer door after 30 minutes and cold air flows out, the unit will
work properly. After some time the thermostat switches itself off and on again
automatically and sets the desired temperature.
• The temperature in the refrigerator is between 0-10 °C. Although the growth of
bacteria is slowed down at this temperature, the refrigerator is not suitable for
storing food for long periods of time.
Teperature settings
The temperature is controlled by the temperature controller at the top of the refrigerator.
The setting can be made from 1 to 7, where 7 is the coldest setting. When the appliance
is switched on for the first time, the thermostat should be set so that after 24 hours the
average refrigerator temperature does not exceed +5 °C (+41 °F). We recommend that
you set the thermostat in the middle between setting 1 and 7. This is usually sufficient for
normal purposes. If you want the fridge to be cooler, turn the control gradually towards
stage 7.
Ice tray
With the ice cube container you can prepare ice cubes. Fill the container to ¾ with water
and place the container in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
Emptying the water pan
The water pan is located on the back of the
refrigerator. There the condensation water is
collected and normally evaporates. If water
overflows or if you notice an unusual smell,
check and clean the water pan. Pull the plug
first. Lift the water pan a little and pull it out
carefully. Make sure that the drain pipe is no
longer hot. After cleaning, fasten the pan and
make sure that the drain pipe is above the water
pan.
