4-13) Self-Diagnosis Error (Defective Sensor)

When there is sensor error, display panel show that. When it occurs during the initial power on time,
display panel keeps blinking relevant 7-SEG and the refrigerator go into the emergency operation mode.
1) When the Ambient Sensor is defective,
CN30 #1- #2
Ambient-Sensor : Read
the resistance between
CN30 #1 and #2
Compare the room temp.
with sensed temp. using
Temp-Resistance Table.
2) When the humidity sensor is defective
Start
MAIN PBA
connector (CN30) is inserted
properly.
YES
Ambient Temp Sensor
is ok.
YES
PBA & Thermistor are ok.
Check the contact of the
connector again.
Start
MAIN PBA Connector
(CN30) is properly
inserted?
YES
The voltage between #1-#2 of
humidity sensor is about 5V?
YES
Output voltage of humidity
sensor(#3) is about 1~4V?
YES
Replace Main PBA after checking the
connection of wire and housing.

Repair the defective contact
of the connector or insert
the connector properly
NO
Replace Thermistor
NO
Repair defective contact
point or insert the
connector properly
NO
Check wire connection
and Main PBA
NO
Humidity the sensor
exchange
