TROUBLE SHOOTING

4-2-4) Self-Diagnosis Error (Defective Sensor)

- When there is a sensor error, it will light up on the display panel. And, when there is a sensor error upon the
initial power on, it will go into the emergency operation mode blinking relevant 7-SEG.
- The refrigerator does not stop when there are sensor errors during the operation, but it goes into the emergency
operation mode, which is not able to do the normal operation.
So, do the double check with the Self Diagnosis in this manual.
1) When the Ambient Sensor is defective,
Refer to the ambient temp
and the resistance in the
Temp - Resistance table.
Ambient-SEN:Read
Resistance between
CN30 #11 and #12
2) When the Fridge Temp Sensor is defective (also applied to other sensors)
Refer to Circuit Diagram
and Temp Sensor
Troubleshooting in this
manual.

Start
MAIN PCB
connector (CN30) is inserted
properly.
YES
Ambient Temp Sensor
is ok.
YES
PCB & Thermistor are ok.
Check the contact of the
connector again.
Start
Fridge Sensor is good.
YES
MAIN PCB Connector
(CN30) is properly
inserted
YES
The order of
Connector(CN30) is the same
as the one in the circuit
diagram
YES
The voltage input of
MAIN MICOM #53 is within the
normal temp range.
YES
PCB & Thermistor are good.
Check the contact of the connector again.

Repair the defective contact
of the connector or insert
the connector properly

Replace Thermistor

Replace Thermistor

Repair the defective contact
