VISUAL TEST

Unplug the trailer cable from the towing vehicle,
detach the trailer and move it manually back and
forth a few times.

Solution
Disconnect trailer ca-
ble from towing vehi-
cle, reconnect after
approx. 5 seconds and
check continuous posi-
tive!
Perform visual inspec-
tion
Consequence
Green - continuous
light
Red marking visible.
Red marking not visi-
ble.
The position of the red marking on the
plunger rod is only a guideline. This mar-
king becomes more visible when the
plunger rod is extended (ATC brakes), it
is only slightly visible for a retracted plun-
ger rod (end position).
Plunger rod extended (ATC brakes), trailer can-
not be moved.
Plunger rod retracted (ATC does not brake), trai-
ler can be moved slightly.
