ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS)
2. Measure:
S Wheel sensor resistance
Connect the pocket tester (Ω X 1) to the termi-
nal of front wheel sensor connector.
Tester's positive (+) lead ! Terminal 1
Tester's negative (–) lead ! Terminal 2
Regulated resistance:
1.19 to 2.21 kΩ at 20 _C
Out of specification ! Replace
3. Check:
S Sensor rotor 1
Cracks and damage ! Replace the wheel as-
sembly
Replacing the wheel sensor rotor
Wheel sensor rotor of YP250A is inserted under
pressure by the special process and cannot be re-
placed as a single unit. To replace the sensor ro-
tor, replace it as a wheel assembly.
Assembling the front wheel sensor
Proceed in the reverse order of disassembling
paying attention to the following items.
1. Apply:
S Litium soap base grease
1 Wheel axle
