    LINKING UP TO THE TRACTOR 1. Reverse your tractor up to the machine and connect the lower links, left hand first to the link pins on the machine, securing with lynch pins. Adjust the right hand tractor lift arm to ensure that the mower is level from side to side.

    USING THE MOWER 13. Ensure that there are no bystanders or animals within 20 metres before starting the mower. Keep the output of the tractor at 540 RPM. 14. Before cleaning, repairing and lubricating the machine, stop the motor and remove the key. ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT To get the most out of your flail mover, it should be set within the recommended height.

    BELT ADJUSTMENT 6. Measure the clearance between the bottom of the extended blades and the ground:- Minimum 50mm. Note in rough or lumpy paddocks the clearance needs to be increased to ensure that the blades don’t impact the ground in operation. 7.

    STARTING THE MACHINE Before starting the machine, control and adjust the following items:- Tension of driving belts. Oil level of gearbox. All lubrication points. Check all bolts, nuts and screws are tight. Lift the mover off the ground before starting. SERVICE FLUIDS AND LUBRICANTS 1.

    MAINTENANCE ATTENTION: All maintenance, repairing, cleaning and lubricating shall be conducted when the tractor and motor are stopped and the key is removed. By following a careful service and maintenance program for your machine, you will enjoy many years of trouble-free operation. The period recommended is based on normal operating conditions.

    STORAGE 1. The machine should be cleaned carefully to avoid corrosion. 2. Don’t spray water on the roller bearings when cleaning the machine with a high pressure washer. 3. Check and clean the P.T.O. and the driving belt tension roller, or replace them if they are not in good condition.

P.T.O. drive shafts are designed for specific machine types and power requirements. They must not be replaced by other models. Ensure that the P.T.O. drive shaft is securely connected.
