When checked, any denied TCP or UDP packets from the LAN network are logged.
Alert/SNMP Traps
Alerts are events, such as attacks, which warrant immediate attention. When events
generate alerts, messages are immediately sent to the E-mail address defined in the
Send alerts to field. Attacks and System Errors are enabled by default, Blocked
Web Sites are disabled.

Attacks
When enabled, log entries categorized as Attacks generates an alert message.

System Errors
When enabled, log entries categorized as System Errors generates an alert
message.

Blocked Web Sites
When enabled, log entries categorized as Blocked Web Sites generates an alert
message.
Once you have configured the Log Settings window, click Update. Once the
SonicWALL has been updated, a message confirming the update is displayed at the
bottom of the browser window.
