Battery Charging The balance can be operated by battery if desired. Battery life is approximately 40 hours for continuous use without a backlight. When the battery needs to be charged, the battery indicator ( ) will turn on. 1. To charge the battery, insert the adapter pin into the jack, located on the right side of the balance. -
