While pressing the brake on my motorhome, the tow bar on light does not light up and the in towed car the brake unit does not work. I am not getting an error code. What would be the problem?
If the tow bar light does not illuminate and the brake unit does not work on a Blue Ox Patriot BRK2012 while pressing the brake on a motorhome, a likely problem is that the unit is in CAR BATTERY LOW state. In this state, indicated by a flashing “4” with an intermittent beep, the actuator retracts and normal braking will not function. The system will only work in the event of a breakaway.
