Introduction:
1. Concerning the Oven CR-5000G – technical characteristics:
The apparatus is made from quality stainless steel sheet; other parts are conveniently
protected against corrosion. All build-in elements have been tested. When opened, the
specially designed door allows an easy approach to the interior and avoids any risk of
burning. The double glassed window allows also a view in the interior. Parts under
treatment can be loaded and unloaded by pulling the PTFE-coated sliding plate. The
exact reproducibility of the temperature is ensured by a high precision, microprocessor-
based electronic temperature regulator. Starting from the room temperature, the oven
attains 170° in about 60 minutes owing to the six h eating elements, disposed under the
ceiling and over the floor of the chamber. The total available power is 4500 W.
The oven is built for working at the maximal temperature of 200° C . The installed power is
sufficient for attaining higher levels and the temperature controller as well can be set in
consequence, but no guarantee can be given in this case for long term use.
2. CASE and unpacking:
Ovens are delivered wrapped in plastic foil and in a wooden case. After having opened
the top of the case, remove the shelf. The package containing the four feet and all
corresponding screws deposited upon the oven. The two counter-weights are nailed
against the side wall of the case. After having removed the front panel of the case, the
oven can be drown out.
3. MOUNTING ON THE FEET:
The oven has to be lifted by any lifting-engine or by hand to the level corresponding to the
length of the feet (650 mm). The four feet have to be screwed on the angles of the base
frame and the shelf on the half height of them (Figures on page 9).
4. INSTALLING THE COUNTER-WEIGHTS:
The two counter-weights have to be installed on the door's levers and tightened with
screws.
5. FIRST OPENING THE OVEN:
The internal sliding plate is wedged for transportation with plastic foam parts that have to
be removed. The reserve roll of teflon covered fiber cloth, the users Manual and a
certain number of spare parts in separate packages can be found on the plate.
6. Electrical connection:
As delivered, the oven CR-5000G* is cabled for 400V/3N (3 phase) with cord 5 x 1.5
mm².
The modification to single phase 230 V supply is possible by changing the wiring on the
