6.3 Power supply

Connect an electronically regulated 12 V power sup-

ply unit to the jack 12 V

PS-12CCD. The positive pole must be at the centre

pin. The power consumption is 200 mA. A DC plug

5.5 / 2.1 mm (outside / inside diameters) is neces-

sary.

7 Operation

1) After connection of the 12 V supply voltage the

camera is ready for operation. The LED at the

front panel is lighting.

2) Adjust the distance at the lens. In case of lenses

with an iris manually to be adjusted, set the

distance for optimum picture reproduction (depth

of focus and gain).

3) If the image reproduction is not clear with correc-

tly adjusted distance, the mechanical focus set-

ting for the lens must be adjusted. For this loosen

both hexagonal screw on the left and right of the

front camera housing. Adjust a clear picture by

turning the lens thread ring. Then tighten the hex

screws again.

8 AGC adjustment, internal gamma cor-

rection and shutter selection

8.1 AGC adjustment

The AGC is set to ON ex factory. For the OFF condi-

tion unsolder the 0 Ω resistor from position RAGC

and solder it into position RMGC. Adjust the neces-

sary gain with the trim potentiometer VR5.
