outside mounting the camera must be placed into a weather-
proof housing, e. g. MONACOR TVG-300.

6 Connection of the camera

6.1 Camera output
Connect the camera output jack VIDEO OUT (1) via a 75 Ω
RF cable (e. g. MONACOR VEC-62/10) with one or several
monitors. Watch the correct 75 Ω termination at the monitor
resp. with series connection at the last monitor. With a cable
length of more than 100 m a video amplifier should be
switched between camera and long cable to compensate for
cable losses.
When using several cameras, insert a camera video switch
or video splitter between the cameras and the monitor (e. g.
monitor TVSP-410).
6.2 Power supply
Connect an electronically regulated 12 V power supply unit to
the jack POWER 12 V
The positive pole must be at the centre pin. The power con-
sumption is 120 mA. A DC plug 5.5/2.1 mm (outside/inside
diameters) is necessary.

7 Operation

1) After connection of the 12 V supply voltage the camera is
ready for operation. The LED at the front panel is lighting.
2) Adjust the distance at the lens. In case of lenses with an
iris manually to be adjusted, set the distance for optimum
picture reproduction (depth of focus and gain).
