Connecting the Serial Port to the Maintenance Terminal
Two types of serial ports can be used to connect the serial port to the maintenance terminal: RJ-45 to
DB9 serial cable and RJ-45 to RJ-45 serial cable. Generally, the RJ-45 to DB9 serial cable is used, as
shown in the figure below.

Connecting Power Cables
The power modules of the storage system can connect to two routes of power supplies. To ensure the
high availability of the storage system and avoid unexpected power-down of the storage system caused
by the failure of the power supplies, connect the storage system to two routes of power supplies.
