Power On Devices
Before powering on the device, ensure that the disk enclosures are properly connected to the
controller enclosure.
The power-on process takes about three to five minutes. The startup of the controller enclosure is
followed by the startup of the disk enclosures.
Check the status indicators on the controller enclosure and disk enclosures after the devices are
powered on.
When the storage system is powered on, the colors of the indicators vary with the port speeds.

controller enclosure → switch (for SAN) → application server.
