7 Philips GoPure car air purifier troubleshooting
Problem 1:
Philips GoPure car air
purifier does not start.
Solution 1:
• Verify that the 12V pow-
er supply is on.
• Check the power con-
nection and make sure
the socket is properly
inserted.
• Make sure the top cover
is pushed down to lock
properly.
• Check whether there
is any error indicate on
cigar lighter's UI. (E1: the
device is not connected
to power cable. E2: The
top cover of the device is
not properly closed.
Problem 2:
After filter replacement,
Philips GoPure displays
"FLt" or "E2".
Solution 2:
• Repeat the reset steps
section 6.2.
• Close top cover, the device
has been reset properly.
Problem 3:
Philips GoPure PM2.5 and
Gas value does not change
for a very long time.
Solution 3:
It may simply indicate
stable air quality. It may
also indicate that the air
intake slots are obstruct-
ed or polluted.
• Make sure the air circu-
lation around the device
is free.
• Restart the device. If
the problem remains,
please contact your retailer.
Problem 4:
Philips GoPure PM2.5
and Gas value changes
frequently.
Solution 4:
This is normal and the
device is working prop-
erly. When the air quality
is poor, the device per-
forms its cleaning pro-
cess. However, the PM2.5
and Gas value reflects
the air quality near the
device. A times, this may
bring a frequent PM2.5
or Gas value change. Let
the GoPure car air purifier
perform its cleaning
process. When the air
reaches good quality, the
PM2.5 and Gas will turn
normal as described.
Problem 5:
Philips GoPure Air
Quality Indicator shows a
blue light, but some odor
remains in the car.
Solution 5:
There are multi-factors
impact odor in the car,
GoPure car air purifier
applies HESA technology,
highly efficient in elim-
inating harmful gases,
including formaldehyde,
Toluene, TVOC, vehicle
exhausts, ammonia, etc.
Philips GoPure car air pu-
rifier continuously purify
the air, however, some
odor in cars may emit
continuously. Suggest
remove pollution source
or select boost mode to
accelerate purify speed.
Problem 6:
App on smartphone fails
to connect the GoPure
car air purifier.
Solution 6:
Make sure GoPure car air
purifier is connected to
power source, and the dis-
tance between the device
and the smart phone must
be less than 5m.

Which gas can be de-
tected by Philips GoPure
car air purifier.
Solution 7:
Philips GoPure car air
purifier could detect
VOCs like ammonia,
hydrogen, alcohol, meth-
ane, propane, gansu
alkanes, propanediol,
phenol, toluene, pheny-
lethane, xylol, formal-
dehyde etc. And smoke
from cigarette burning
from wood, paper, etc.
Problem 8:
Philips Go Pure car air
purifier Gas value does
not display after device
power on.
Solution 8:
Gas sensor initialization
duration will be different
according to different
environment, It may take
30 seconds to 3 minutes
to display Gas level.
Please do not turn off
while waiting.
Problem 9:
Philips GoPure car air
purifier is noisy.
Solution 9:
Philips GoPure car air
purifier has 3 speed
settings: boost, auto and
silent mode. At boost
mode, the motor will
be set to high speed to
accelerate purification.
You can set speed to
auto mode, GoPure car
air purifier will adjust mo-
tor speed automatically
according to pollution
level, motor speed and
sound will be reduced
automatically when the
air quality is good.
