Troubleshooting
TROUBLESHOOTING
If faults or causes of faults are not listed below, have them rectified by
the responsible dealer.
Fault
Battery charging control lamp
does not light up when the engine
is switched off and the ignition
switch is set to the operating
position.
Battery charging control lamp
shines when engine is running at
high speed.
Battery charging control lamp
flickering when engine is running.
Battery charging control lamp
does not go out when engine is
running.
Alternator making strange noises. Faulty alternator
Starter does not turn over.
Starter pinion engages/
