Here's how you can edit the sample name that is assigned when you import from an audio CD or
WAV file.

In the Quick Loop Sampler section, repeat-
edly press the [SAMPLE EDIT] key or hold
down the [SAMPLE EDIT] key and use CUR-
SOR [ ]/[ ] keys to access the SETUP
page of the SAMPLE screen.

1 Bank
Selects the sample bank that will be used for each pad.
B Sample name
Indicates the name of the sample that is assigned to the
currently selected sample bank.
C NAME button
Opens the TITLE EDIT popup window, where you
can edit the name of the sample.

Move the cursor to the Bank field, and turn
the [DATA/JOG] dial to select the sample
bank whose name you want to edit.
The sample name is displayed at the right.

Move the cursor to the NAME button and
press the [ENTER] key.
The TITLE EDIT popup window will appear.
You may use only capital letters, numerals, and the
underscore "_" character.

When you have finished editing the name,
move the cursor to the OK button and press
the [ENTER] key.
The popup window will close, and the new name will
be applied.
