Hierarchical Connection of Multiple ProjectPhone

What is a cascade connection?

A cascade connection classifies the ProjectPhone to be
involved in a call into the servers and clients, connects
each client to a server and establishes the call by
interconnecting the servers. While the maximum number
of locations that can be connected in normal connection
mode (mesh mode) is four, a larger number of locations
can be connected by means of the cascade connection.
Example: Connecting the headquarter and branch A with a
2-location call and additionally connecting two divisions in two
different locations to each of the headquarter and branch A.

Note
To use the cascade connection, all of the ProjectPhone involved in
the call should be set to one of the cascade connection modes. A
unit set to the normal connection mode (mesh mode) cannot be
connected with a unit set to a cascade connection mode.

■ The maximum number of locations in a
cascade connection
Up to eight locations can be connected by means of the
cascade connection. To establish the connection of eight
locations, you need to connect the servers and clients as
shown in the following figure.
