Recording your vocal mixed with
the source onto a tape (adding
effects of the selected karaoke
mode and other karaoke
functions)
Only when a karaoke mode is selected and one or two
microphone(s) are connected to this unit, you can record
your vocal input from the microphone(s) along with the
source onto a tape (or MD) by using the tape deck, VCR, etc.
connected to the TAPE/MD OUT and/or VCR OUT terminals
on the rear of this unit.
In addition, effects of the selected karaoke mode, and effects
of karaoke functions (MIC MIXING, MIC TONE and/or ECHO
level) can also be recorded with the vocal and the source.
To record:

Select the source to be recorded by pressing the
corresponding INPUT SELECTOR button.

Prepare to sing Karaoke by using microphone(s).

If you want to record effects of karaoke functions (MIC
MIXING, MIC TONE and/or ECHO level) together, make
adjustments on them.

Play the source and then turn up the VOLUME control to
confirm the input source.

Begin recording on the tape deck (or MD recorder etc.) or
VCR connected to this unit.

Begin singing Karaoke.
Notes
● If "VCR" is selected as the input source, recording cannot
be made by using the VCR etc. connected to the VCR
OUT terminals on the rear of this unit.
● If "TAPE/MD" is selected as the input source, recording
cannot be made by using the tape deck etc. connected to
the TAPE/MD OUT terminals on the rear of this unit.
● With this recording method, the effect of the built-in
graphic equalizer cannot be recorded with the source
even if it is used.
