16.1.1 Device Management Settings

The Device Management Settings mode is for customers who want to make fine
adjustments to the printed image. There is a special menu that must be activated
by your authorized service dealer for you to be able to access the Device
Management Settings modes. For more information on specifying the Device
Management Settings modes, see "Device Management Settings," in the
Security E-Manual included with your machine.
You can adjust the following items through the Device Management Settings
menu:
• Auto Gradation Adjustment
• Color Cast Correction
• Adjust Perfect Binding Glue
Application
IMPORTANT
• A Full Auto Gradation Adjustment can only be performed if the optional Color
Image Reader-L1 is installed.
• If you set a positive value ([+]) for the Color Cast Correction mode, the color
cast is removed, but the following image quality impacts may occur:
− Color fading at the tail end of the printed image
− Glossy grains
− Fine lines are less distinguishable
• The Adjust Perfect Binding Glue Application mode is only available if the
optional Perfect Binder-C1 is attached.
