Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
The appliance does not
function. The control lamp
"Power" does not glow.
After ironing, there are
stains on the textiles
The control lamp "Tempera-
ture" 4 lights up and then
goes out.
It will not produce steam.
SDB 2400 A1
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The plug is not connected to
the mains power supply.
The appliance is damaged.
The soleplate 9 is soiled.
You have poured chemical
additives into the water tank.
You have sprayed laundry
starch onto the fabric.
This is not a defect: the control
lamp "Temperature" 4 in-
dicates the heating up of the
appliance.
The steam regulator 1 is
placed at the position
There is not enough water in
the water tank.
The set temperature is too low
for steam generation.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Connect the appliance to a mains
power socket.
In this case, contact Customer
Services.
First carry out a self-cleaning
process and then clean the iron.
Empty the water tank, carry out a
self-cleaning process and then fi ll it
with only water as per the instruc-
tion in "Filling with mains water".
In principle, spray laundry starch
onto the back of the fabric. Clean
the sole of the iron 9.
Adjust the steam regulator 1 to
a higher position.

Set the temperature regulator 7
