To do a check of the emergency stop button (LH 700)
1. Turn the emergency stop button clockwise to make
sure that it is disengaged.
2. Start the engine. Refer to
(LH 700) on page 11 .
3. Push the emergency stop button.
4. Make sure that the engine stops.
5. Turn the emergency stop button clockwise to
disengage.
To do a check of the emergency stop button (LH 804)
1. Pull the emergency stop button out to make sure that
it is disengaged.
2. Start the engine. Refer to
(LH 804) on page 17 .
3. Push the emergency stop button.
4. Make sure that the engine stops.
5. Pull the emergency stop button out to disengage.
Emergency stop button on the remote control (LH 804)
The emergency stop button on the remote control (A) is
used to quickly stop the engine. The emergency stop
button is also the ON/OFF button for the remote control.
CAUTION: Do not use the emergency stop
button on the remote control to stop the
product unless there is an emergency.

To do a check of the emergency stop button on the
remote control (LH 804)
1. Start the engine. Refer to
(LH 804) on page 17 .
2. Push the emergency stop button (A) on the remote
control.
3. Make sure that the engine stops.
4. Turn the emergency stop button on the remote
control clockwise to disengage.
To do a check of the ignition lock (LH 700)
•
Start and stop the engine. Refer to
product (LH 700) on page 11 and To stop the
product (LH 700) on page 12 .
a) Make sure that the engine starts when you turn
the ignition key clockwise.
b) Make sure that the engine stops immediately
when you turn the ignition key counterclockwise.
Muffler
The muffler keeps the noise levels to a minimum and
sends the exhaust fumes away from the operator.
Do not use the product if the muffler is missing or
defective. A defective muffler increases the noise level
and the risk of fire.
WARNING: The muffler becomes very hot
during and after use and when the engine
operates at idle speed. Be careful near
flammable materials and/or fumes to prevent
fire.
To do a check of the muffler

Examine the muffler regularly to make sure that it is
attached correctly and not damaged.
Safety frame
The safety frame prevents damage to the product if it
falls.
To do a check of the safety frame
•
Make sure that there are no cracks or other
damages on the safety frame.
•
Make sure that the safety frame is correctly installed
on the product.
