The ultra-modern design light ATARO is available with various levels of comfort. No matter whether you decided
on the basic version DUW or the dimmable version DUW /D, you bought one of the most modern products
out of the world of office lights.
To help reduce the glare of the light, the lights are equipped with the newly developed prism cover AMBIO.
It effectively reduces the glare toward the side while maintaining high light density on the work surface.
The basic model DUW already supplies your office with a well-balanced, non dazzling light. The dimmable version
DUW /D offers an individually adjustable light intensity and thus a more comfortable illumination.
The features of the version DUW /R additionally improve the light comfort and increase the range of individual
applications. Moreover this light reduces the power consumption.
The DUW /R measures the surrounding light and adjusts the light intensity accordingly. In the case of incident
sunlight, very little additional light, if any at all, is emitted. In the case of little incident light (e.g. if the Vene-
tian blinds have been lowered), the light intensity is automatically increased. Once you have adjusted "your
personal light" , the intensity is maintained at the desired level independently of external influences. In this way,
the ATARO always supplies the right light – with additional savings in energy.
Additional savings in energy are possible if the light is only turned on when persons are in the room. The DUW
/R is provided with an internal presence sensor which detects motions within the surroundings of the light.
The light is switched off automatically if there is not any motion in the detection area of the presence sensor
for a longer period. The light is switched on automatically when a motion is detected within the detection area.
