Common Exhaust duct, effective cross section calculation
When installing the gas boiler in an apartment complex, effective cross section of
the exhaust duct should be greater than the following calculations. Effective cross
section of common exhaust duct (mm

0.6 (mm
h / kcal) X boiler simultaneous usage rate (F) + horizontal projectile area

Simultaneous Usage Rate (F) should be set according to selections, but must not
be less than the value given in the chart.
When the area of the common exhaust duct is a square, the cross section should
be 1.4 times larger than the area calculated in the above formula.

Within 600mm of the exhaust flue top, there
should be no openings such as a window.
If exhaust gas enters inside, it may cause exhaust
gas poisoning.
