Engine test run

Important
Observe the safety precautions
beginning on page 17 before
performing out any work on the
engine or
compartment.
Warning lamps
Check the warning lamps for the coolant,
the alternator and the engine oil pressure.
The warning lamps light up when the engine
is shifted into the operating position
and must go out again after the engine is
started.
Starting engine
Check the starting behaviour of the engine
during starting.
Leaks
Check the cylinder head cover, oil filter, fuel
system and cooling system for leaks.
Exhaust system
Check the exhaust system for leaks and
damage.
