Important Note: The H9000R lacks front panel controls, so all setup and
configuration is done remotely using Eventide's "Emote" software, including the
initial network setup.
You must use version 1.1 or higher of Emote when working with the H9000R. You
may be able to view your H9000R in Emote using 1.0, but connecting to and
controlling it without the 1.1 update is not supported.

Setting Up an H9000R With a Hard-Wired Connection

If you have connected the H9000R to your local network with a hard-wired
Ethernet connection, no configuration is necessary on the H9000R side; it will
simply appear on your local network when you launch the Emote software.
From there, you can continue to use Ethernet, or alternatively you may select a Wi-
Fi network for use with the included dongle.

Setting Up an H9000R With a Wireless Connection

If no Ethernet is present, you must create an initial connection between the
H9000R and Emote, using a Wi-Fi access point, using the following steps:
• Plug the included Wi-Fi dongle into any USB port on the H9000R.
• Turn on the H9000R, while simultaneously pressing the front panel
"Network" button. This will activate the H9000R's Wi-Fi access point at
startup. (Note that booting with the "Network" held down will also
implement the "Clear Current State" recovery function. In this case, you
