Troubleshooting
1. Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure, page 7.
PROBLEM
Pump does not operate.
Pressure too low.
Pump output low on both strokes.
Pump output low on only one stroke.

2. Check all possible problems and solutions before
CAUSE
Insufficient power supply.
No flow rate input to VFD.
START/STOP switch set to STOP.
SECURE DISABLE switch not activated.
Outlet valve not open.
Damaged electric motor.
Damaged gear reducer.
Fluid dried on piston rod.
Throat packing nut is too tight.
3-phase wiring to motor is not correct.
Incorrect transducer calibration.
Lowers need repair.
Restricted pump fluid inlet.
Air in the fluid.
Insufficient power supply.
Exhausted fluid supply.
Held open or worn ball check valves.
Wrong fluid lowers installed.
Held open or worn ball check valves.
Worn piston packings.
Air in the fluid.
disassembling pump.
Verify that power supply meets require-
ments. See Performance Charts, page
47.
Select speed/flow setting.
Set START/STOP switch to START.
Pull out to activate.
Open valve.
Repair, page 18.
Disconnect pumps and operate. If speed
is consistent, gear reducer is good. If
speed is erratic, gear reducer is bad.
Disassemble and clean lower. See lower
manual. In future, stop lower at bottom of
stroke.
Loosen packing nut and retighten.
Inspect and confirm wiring continuity.
Check calibration. Replace transducer if
necessary.
Check and repair. See lower manual.
Clear.
Check fluid level. Check inlet fittings for
leaks.
Verify that power supply meets require-
ments. See Performance Charts, page
47.
Refill and reprime pump.
Check and repair.
Verify size of lowers installed and config-
ured.
Check and repair.
Replace. See lower manual.
Check fluid level. Check inlet fittings for
leaks.
