Description of device

The FSA 500 consists of the measurement unit with
internal battery supply and a power supply unit with
power cord for supplying the measurement unit and
charging the internal battery. The USB connecting cable
or Bluetooth USB adapter is used for connection to the
PC/Laptop. Various sensor cables are also supplied for
measured value recording.
DANGER – Risk of tripping when trans-
porting and taking measurements with the
FSA and the sensor cables.
The sensor cables represent a greater
tripping hazard during transportation and
measurement.
Always remove the sensor cables prior to
transportation.
Route the sensor cables such that there
is no risk of tripping.
DANGER – Risk of injury from unexpected
closing of the hood.
If the FSA 500 is suspended from the hood,
there is a risk of injury from unexpected clos-
ing of the hood if it is not firmly fixed in posi-
tion or if the gas-filled struts are too weak to
support the additional weight of the FSA 500
and the connected cables.
Make sure the open hood is firmly in
position.
!
The FSA 500 could fall on the ground for example
if not properly mounted. This could then result in
damage.
