Install the power cable and communication cable of the indoor and
outdoor unit at least 1 m (3.26') away from the electric appliance.
Install the indoor unit away from lighting apparatus with a ballast.
X If you use the wireless remote control, reception error may occur due X
to the ballast of the lighting apparatus.
For maximum safety, installers should always carefully read the
following warnings.
Do not install the air conditioner in following places:
X Place where there is mineral oil or arsenic acid. X
Plastic parts may deform,crack resulting water leak and reduce
performance of heat exchanger or air conditioner may not operate.
X The place where corrosive gas such as sulfurous acid gas generates X
from vent pipes or other outlets.
X The copper pipe or connection pipe may corrode and refrigerant X
may leak.
X A place where there is a machine that generates electromagnetic X
waves. The air conditioner may not operate normally due to control
system interference.
X The place where there is a danger of existing combustible gas, X
carbon fiber of flammable dust.
X The place where thinners or gasoline are handled. Gas may leak and X
it may cause fire.
If the air conditioner is installed in a small room, measures must
be taken to prevent the refrigerant concentration in the room
from exceeding the safety limit in the event of refrigerant leakage.
Consult a dealer regarding the appropriate measures to prevent the
allowable concentration from being exceeded.
X If the refrigerant leaks, and cause the concentration limit to be X
exceeded, hazards due to lack of oxygen in the room may result.
