Outdoor Installation

For the following steps, the items listed below will be needed:
 HD PTZ Camera
 Camera Mounting Arm w/ backplate
 Cable Ties
 T30 Driver
 Level
 Install Sealant
1. Make sure the mounting arm will be mounted high enough so that the camera
pan/tilt/zoom features can be utilized. On the outside wall where the cables have been
pulled through and the camera is to be mounted, attach the camera mounting arm
backplate to the wall and secure tightly (hardware not included). The camera
mounting arm backplate should go over the hole created for the cables with the flat
side of the mount against the wall with the arrow facing up (oreientation shown
below). Make sure the plate is level. Once the Mounting Arm is secured to the wall,
use Install Sealant around the outside of where the mounting arm meets the wall to
keep moisture from leaking behind the mounting arm and down the cable.
Please note: The mount allows you to mount to a pole using the opposite orientation,
however, we recommend using a wall mount when able.
