5.3 ADMINISTERING PHOTOTHERAPY TREATMENT
Once baby is secure, turn on the device and use the controller to administer therapy. Follow the steps below and
set light intensity level as directed by physician to achieve desired results*.
Normal use cycle:

Press and hold power button until a
beep is heard to start device. NOTE:
Software version may differ than
version displayed above.
To pause treatment, press power button
once. To resume treatment, press power
button once again.
Press hold the power button for a longer
duration to power OFF the device.
* Actual display may vary based on software revisions.
** LED lifetime refers to the number of hours the LED modules have been used to date.
SELF TEST PASSED
System performs self-check and buzzer
beeps if passed. In case of failure, a sys-
tem alarm is generated, refer to section
for 6.2 for more information.
Press '+' button once to begin treatment.
Use '+' and '-' buttons to increase or
decrease light intensity. LED indicators will
glow to show corresponding levels. Keep
device at a setting recommended by the
treating physician.
The device has been calibrated to deliver the
following light Intensity levels:
Low
High
Very High
LED LIFETIME
2,435 HRS
System will display LED lifetime**.
Verify that the time is less than 25,000
hrs.
The device is now ready for use.
