Place the washed and sliced food into
one steam basket resp. in all steam
baskets. Please also read the hints on
page 16 to observe the right order for the
food and the cooking time.
When steaming food such as corn, rice,
or canned peas or lentils, use the large
steam basket (3) and place the bowl (10)
into the large basket.

Close the top steam basket with the lid
and make sure all steam baskets are
locked securely with the closure latches.

Plug the power plug into the wall socket.
The power indicator lamp (6) turns on
and indicates that the power plug is
plugged in.
4.
Adjust the cooking time with the time
switch (7). Turn the switch clockwise up
to the desired cooking time. The green
operating indicator lamp (8) turns on and
the time switch counts down. When time
has run out, you will hear a confirmation
sound.
5.
When using cold water, the food steamer
needs approx. 1 minute to heat up and
bring the water to the boil. Thereafter
steam rises and cooks the food. Addi-
tionally steam emits from the steam
outlet opening.
6.
During steaming, always mind the water
level. You can check the water level with
the water level window (9).
