Cautions when regulating
An acrylic shutter is attached to the underside of each key.
When removing the keyboard, please take care not to damage the shutters.
As described earlier, the E3 uses key sensors to detect key position. For this reason the
condition of key regulation and the key stop rail will have an effect on key sensor
detection.
Frequent occurrence of the following conditions may result in errors when the key
sensor is operating.
1. Tight balance rail holes will result in keys that are still raised when the keys are
operated with the automatic piano playback function.
2. The space between the key rail and the keyboard is too wide.
When making adjustments to the keyboard (height, depth), the service center mode
(described later) is required to perform calibrations .
When making adjustments to the pedals (damper, shift), the service center mode is
required to perform calibrations .
