Inside most computers there is a fan placed on top of the CPU,
often coming with a radiator. That fan adjusts its rotation
speed according to the temperature of the CPU. That is why your
computer emits a hissing sound when you are watching a movie,
playing a video game, or performing any task that causes the CPU
to heat up.
