Sending 1 to the Arduino via the serial monitor generates a clock
signal on the pin 8.
• In ZP Studio you can see a signal on the channel A0. Note that
the first rising edge (our trigger condition) is marked by the red
trigger bar.
• Because the sample rate is too high we cannot see the full period.
Try with a lower sample rate, for example 400KHz, and click on Run.
• Repeat until you can see two or more periods of the signal.
• Notice the two icons in the menu Settings. The leftmost icon enables
the compression mode. Click on it and click on Run. The result is
more data being captured with the same amount of memory.
Step 2:
• Connect the logic analyzer to the Arduino UNO as shown on the
diagram below.
