Use these units with care and keep the volume at a reasonable level when possible. The volume should ideally be set to a comfortable level when listening to music. Devine cannot be held liable for any injuries or damage resulting from the use of this product. General use... - Page 7 The Artis active subwoofers are equipped with a built-in crossover that ensures the incoming signal is filtered so that the subwoofer only receives the low frequencies. The line signal outputs can be switched between 'flat' and 'HPF'. When 'flat' is selected, the full input signal is sent to the line outputs and when 'HPF' is selected, everything, apart from the low frequencies, is sent to the line outputs.
- Page 8 Using in combination with satellite speakers The Artis subwoofers can be used in combination with Artis full-range speakers or other speakers. Normally, the speakers chosen will be smaller in size than the subwoofer. You might use 8 or 10-inch speakers with a 12-inch subwoofer, for instance, or 12 or 15-inch speakers with an 18-inch subwoofer.
